How Stackrig makes money
As of 2 October 2026. Short, so you can check it.
1. Plans
The playground has a free plan. Paid plans, Pro for one person and Team for several, are planned and are meant to pay for Stackrig. We are still testing prices; the waitlist asks what you would pay.
2. Partner links on guides
Some guides end with a block marked "Advertising". The links in it lead to companies that pay us a commission if you become their customer through the link. It costs you nothing extra.
- Railway (a hosting platform) pays us 15 % of the invoices of a customer who came through our link during the first 12 months.
The rule: what a partner pays never decides what we recommend.
- Partner links stand only in that marked block at the end of a guide. The article's text, its tables and its measurements contain none.
- The playground and "Find my stack" contain no paid link and no paid ranking. Proposals are ranked by the simulated result and the providers' public list prices, each with its source and date.
- A provider we measure on or run on is named whether or not it has a partner program.
3. What we do not do
- No advertising networks, no banners, nothing loaded from an advertiser.
- No tracking and no analytics service. The one anonymous counter we keep is described in the privacy policy.
- No paid articles and no paid mentions inside an article.
- We do not sell or share the waitlist.
